Prince George’s 98th Anniversary Bash at The Exploration Place on Wednesday March 6th, 3:00pm-6:00pm
Head down to The Exploration Place to celebrate Prince George’s 98th Anniversary Bash with an open house and cake at 3:00pm. Prince George is 2 years away from its 100th anniversary bash! Prince George Aquatics is offering free swimming lessons for parent and tot, preschool, swim kids and adult. Lessons will be held in the mornings from March 18-22 at the Four Seasons Leisure Pool. Spaces will fill up fast so sign up quickly! You can register online on the PG Leisure website or in person.

A great FREE event to watch during Spring Break! To see the game schedule check out the Wheelchair Basketball Canada 2013 Junior West Regional Companionship Tournament page here. Prince George can get a glimpse of one of the 2015 Canada Winter Games’ official sports at the Junior West Regional Wheelchair Basketball Championships, featuring local two-time Canada Games able-bodied wheelchair basketball player, and 2010 Wheelchair Basketball Canada Junior athlete of the year, Avril Harris. The tournament will take place at Duchess Park Senior Secondary School in Prince George, British Columbia, March 22-24, 2013. The 3-on-3 tournament features the top junior aged athletes (born on January 1, 1991 or later) in Western Canada from the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, and Saskatchewan, who are age-eligible to participate in the 2015 Canada Winter Games in Prince George. The Championship is co-hosted by BC Wheelchair Basketball Society and Wheelchair Basketball Canada. Hosting BC grant funding was received from the Province of British Columbia through the Ministry of Community, Sport and Cultural Development, and administered by via Sport British Columbia.

Join The Exploration Place as they celebrate their mascot, Bones, birthday in the Atrium! Bones and Digger will be visiting at noon to share some yummy birthday cake. Then from 1:00pm-3:00pm there you can learn how to design and dye eggs Ukrainian style! Cake and egg dyeing activities will be located in the atrium and free of charge!
