B.C is celebrating it’s very first Family Day this Monday, February 11th and there are lots of family friendly events to check out.

From 12-5pm at both the Nanaimo Ice Centre and the Nanaimo Aquatic Centre (741 Third Street / Ice Centre- 750 third street), you can participate in several free events. Along with swimming and skating, you can also get your face painted and have fun with arts and crafts. Roving entertainer, Aunti Bobbi, will be on hand to make your little ones smile. There will also be story telling circles and four distinct activity zones throughout the centres.

The Vancouver Art Gallery, Science World, BC Royal Museum, and the Britannia Mining Museum will also be hosting family friendly events during the day. Free skate rentals and skating will be going on at Robson Square too.

The Inner Harbour is the place to be in Victoria for Family Day. From 11am-7pm, you can partake in concerts, face painting, scavenger hunts and lots of other fun things for the whole family.
